OUT OF CHARACTER: In a hypothetical situation, Renee wouldn’t love them the way parents normally love their children. I mean, in drastic circumstances she may not even love them at all. This is Renee we’re talking about - a person with no higher thinking, and possesses no ability to love or feel compassion.

I think that she would see them as an investment, of sorts. She’d see the potential in having a child, and all the possibilities of what that child could become. Which is why I say that they would become extremely deadly.

So I just finished reading White lies and thought about starting to read red leather, but i'm just so confused... What is red leather about? Is Renee Griffin like Jessabel's daughter?? And is red leather a supernatural story?..

OUT OF CHARACTER: I really, really, really don’t care about who would be better fit to play who. Seeing as my books will never be turned into movies, I just think it’s a giant waste of time putting generic faces onto characters that should stand alone as they are. But on Wattpad, I DID add a ‘cast’, but even I think it doesn’t even come close to how I picture my characters.

Wattpad’s gotten lazy in terms of character originality. I really don’t want my readers to put on some random actor/actresses face on Jessabel. I’ve described Renee and Jessabel’s features as clearly as possible, and that alone should be the only pointers the readers should get as to how they look. Because ultimately - it doesn’t matter how they look. The beauty of stories is that they take different shapes in each and every one of our minds. My Renee is not the same as your Renee. And neither is my Jessabel.
